Welcome To The Ashdown Clinic Limited

Established in 1976, Ashdown Clinic limited is one of Hertfordshire's leading multi-disciplinary health care centre. Our services range from massage to osteopathy, and from podiatry to reflexology. The Clinic is dedicated to caring for every aspect of your physical and mental well-being - and to treating the underlying causes of your problems, not just the symptoms.

Our approach is friendly and informal, and our belief is that we can treat you more completely by working as a team. Rooted in sound medical practice gained from years of experience in our respective fields. Our methods form a genuine complement to mainstream medicine.

We work with GPs and consultants, many of whom refer patients to us directly, although you are welcome to self-refer.
Ashdown Clinic Limited is a thriving, multi-skilled, interdisciplinary centre for health care. The Clinic has a team of specialist practitioners who work together, sharing knowledge and information, combining skills rather than being individual therapists that 'float' between practices.

Please note the website is under construction.

Testimonials

“After almost 10 years of various different surgeries I was losing hope in alleviating the pain I was encountering with my left knee.

Having visited yet another top specialist in Harley Street I was told that I had torn both meniscus and really my only alternative was to stagger through with physiotherapy and Ultimately face a complete knee replacement.

I was introduced to MBST by a work colleague and attended the Ashdown Clinic in Potters Bar for a series of 7×1 hour sessions. My knee was immediately worse for a few days and then amazingly, for the first time in c.10 years, I began to experience hardly any pain.

Now almost 4 months later I’m still walking and managing to easily do my 10,000 steps a day with little or no pain at all. Thank you very much to Paul and the team and I look forward to my top up session later this year. “

"I have had terrible back problems for about 5 years. I decided to try the MBST machine at Ashdown clinic.

I have found it to be excellent - given me instant relief, without needing physio or painkillers. For the first time I can now lift things without lower back pain.

Thank you Ashdown Clinic and also for the friendly way in which you did it."

Optician

“Ten years ago I was diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma – a painful condition of certain toe joints and one which might have necessitated complicated surgery.

However Ashdown investigated and analysed the cause as being inadequate foot support over many years leading also to poor posture.

They designed and fitted orthotic shoe inserts. Result – ten years of pain-free walking. Thank you, Ashdown.”

Peter W

"Recently, there was a significant deterioration in my left foot.  Surgery was advised which I refused.

Treatment at the Ashdown Clinic included taping and a course of MBST treatment, (Magnetic Resonance Therapy).

The taping was a huge success.  Today I finished my 9 sessions of MBST and have experienced no further pain.

Paul and the staff at Ashdown helped me, but they are charming and very professional."

Retired G.P.

"Thank you for looking after my feet yesterday.

My feet (and whole body) felt so different when I left. The tape and orthotics made a big difference as if I had my old feet from 30 years ago!

I can feel weight on my big toe and I seem to have better contact with the ground. I know I will have to work to make it more permanent, but I am motivated to do it now.

It is obvious that you enjoy your work. The way you taped my foot reminded me of an experienced artist making a sculpture!"
